As well as the inbuilt EYLF educational reporting, 'I can …' statements are available on the ELLA website. You can print 'I can …' statements to use with each child at any time to form a cumulative picture of that child's engagement across the apps. These statements may be provided to parents or guardians and the child's primary school at the end of the year.
‘I can …’ statement resources and an introduction to their use have been made available to support you and the children to reflect on, share and celebrate the learning that has taken place through the ELLA apps. You are not required to use them; however, you may choose to use some of them to provide information to families or colleagues at the schools that the children will be attending.
