Each ELLA app is underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Australian Curriculum. The ELLA apps capture educational reporting data for each child that can be used to improve learning, engage with families and community and assist children's transition to school.
On this website, in the 'App toolkit' for each app, you will see that each learning experience references an EYLF learning outcome and an Australian Curriculum content description.
The content description describes what is to be taught and what children are expected to learn for the Australian Curriculum: Languages (Foundation to Year 2), for each language. Foundation year is the term used in the Australian Curriculum to refer to the first year of schooling for Australian children.
