Language in the ELLA apps

The ELLA apps have been designed to provide children with a range of opportunities to hear and engage with language suitable for young beginner learners.

Children will:

  • hear the language in context
  • see clear visuals to support understanding
  • experience elements of the culture associated with the language
  • use the language to play.
