- Ask children to move to the next activity if they are wearing a colour you name in your chosen language.
- Count the plates as you set up for snack time, in your chosen language.

Print the We are learning poster and record examples of when you have used your chosen language with the children so that you can share the information with staff and families. For example, ‘We are learning to count in Hindi when we set the table’ or ‘We are learning to say Konnichiwa when we arrive in the morning’.
