The way technology is accessed can support different learning outcomes. Consider how to set up the devices in your classroom environment to best promote learnings.
Children can use the devices in the following environments:
- On the floor – where the devices have robust and colourful protective covers
- In a quiet reading area – for example, with cushions or on a couch
- Outside – where the device has a robust protective cover, and in the shade (as direct sunshine will make it difficult to see the screen)
- In learning centres/creative playspaces – incorporated into such spaces or near play experiences that replicate app learning experiences.
- In rotational group learning.
