Reflect on the question 'What skills do we need to start ELLA?'
- Print the Reflect on getting started poster, and display it in a prominent place at your preschool or school.
- Use the poster to begin conversations about what skills you and your team already have that will contribute to the ELLA program. Take note of these interactions and keep them as evidence for your Quality Improvement Plan or school reporting.
- Find out if any staff already speak an additional language. How could they contribute to the program?
- Find out if any staff have specific information technology skills. Could they help with the set-up of the tablet devices?
- Think about including families. What information do they need?
