Playing
- Each player takes a basket and shopping list.
- Randomly place all 24 cards upside down on the table in even rows.
- The first child turns over a card and says the name of the item in the chosen language.
- If the card matches an item on their shopping list, the child places it in their basket.
- If the card does not match an item on the child’s shopping list, they turn the card face down again.
- Now, it is the next child’s turn. They may choose to turn over the same card if it matches an item on their shopping list. If not, they may turn over a new card.
- The game continues until one child has filled their basket, or until all the cards have been placed in all the baskets.
