Shape-matching activity
Print this page twice. Cut one of the sheets into three individual strips (to use as 'boards') and the other into individual shape-cards. Children can match the coloured shapes to the coloured shapes on the strip.
This activity links to Building Site learning experience in App 7: The Polyglots in the Town. Children can hear vocabulary for shapes, sizes and colours in that learning experience. You can also see the written vocabulary for the shapes on the accompanying printable sheet.
