App 7: The Polyglots in the Town

I have been learning Spanish using The Polyglots apps

Here are some of the things I have discovered in App 7: The Polyglots in the Town:

This is a table that educators can use to share children's learnings with their families. It is a list of "I can…" statements. Each "I can…" statement has a scale that allows the educator to record how the child is progressing with App 1: The Polyglots in the Playroom.

The scale has three labels:

  • Doing sometimes with assistance
  • Beginning to do independently
  • Regularly doing confidently

The first line states:

  • I can name some shapes in Spanish. For example
    Un triángulo Triangle
    Un cuadrado Square
    Un círculo Circle

The second line states:

  • I can recognise the meaning of some words written in Spanish

The third line states:

  • I can say goodbye in Spanish
    Adiós Goodbye/See you later!
