App 3: The Polyglots at the Birthday Party

I have been learning Italian using The Polyglots apps

Here are some of the things I have discovered in App 3: The Polyglots at the Birthday Party:

This is a table that educators can use to share children's learnings with their families. It is a list of "I can…" statements. Each "I can…" statement has a scale that allows the educator to record how the child is progressing with App 1: The Polyglots in the Playroom.

The scale has three labels:

• Doing sometimes with assistance
• Beginning to do independently
• Regularly doing confidently

The first line states:

• I can count to 10 in Italian

  Uno	One
  Due	Two
  Tre	Three
  Quattro	Four
  Cinque	Five
  Seis	Six
  Sette	Seven
  Otto	Eight
  Nove	Nine
  Dieci	Ten

The second line states:

• I can say how old I am in Italian. For example:

  Ho (age) anni!

  I am five!

The third line states:

• I can say happy birthday in Italian

  Buon compleanno!

  Happy birthday!
